Our true treasures are inward and eternal. ![]() In fact, he calls us to be living sacrifices. I was most moved by Tozer’s chapters on “The Tyranny of Things” and “The Joy of Possessing Nothing.” I was reminded that Christ calls us to sacrificial living. This book was made for interaction and engagement. Second, the blocked text allows for ample white space throughout the book, serving as an area to journal and jot down ideas. It allowed me to dwell on the words, focus on the phrases, and see connections more clearly. First, the text is broken into chunks, so your eyes are able to take in smaller sections at a time. I appreciated two related features about this book. I have never seen anything like it, and it an exciting way to enjoy an old favorite. It is visually appealing, with bold typography and strong black/white contrasts.
